Time and Material Outsourcing Model
As the name suggests the customer is charged based on the resources and materials utilized and the time spent for the project. This is the best method for implementing projects which are longer in duration and where the project specifications evolve as the implementation progresses. Large scale and complex projects are best executed using this approach. Our resources are under our management and technical control. The project specifications are jointly designed. We deploy the resources from our technical pool and exert full managerial and technical supervision over their work. Daily reports are sent to you and billing is weekly.
As the name suggests, you as a customer know how much it is going to cost and how soon are you going to get the deliverables. Predictability and assurance is the hallmark of this model. A project is divided into various functional points (FPs) along a timeline. The deliverables at each FP is decided along with a time estimate and a partial payment. In this model you and MCL agree to a fixed price, a fixed time period and a fixed functionality. This is a popular engagement model which clients feel comfortable dealing with as it gives them a budget and timeline that is fixed. MCL has perfected this model and is adept at delivering at high quality software in time and within budget. The disadvantages of this model is that it is not possible to change the functionality, projects specifications or your requirements during the project execution.
Offshore Dedicated Team – Your own offshore IT center
Resources work directly under your command and control. We provide the necessary infrastructure and the resources. We deploy, supervise and manage the resources at our facility. There is a daily report to you on the work progress. We provide an appropriate replacement immediately should any resource decide to resign or is found not functioning to your satisfaction. Billing is hourly rate per resource. Rates vary as per the quality of resource.
